The Art of Small Joys

The Art of Small Joys

The holidays are loud and busy, and everyone seems to be moving a mile a minute. Before things ramp up even more, I wanted to take a breath and talk about slowing down, gratitude, and the tiny joys that keep me going.

I don't know about you, but this year has felt very rushed. Everywhere you look, someone’s telling us to do more, buy more, and hurry more. I want to take a moment to slow down and think about what I’m truly thankful for. My small circle of friends, my cozy home filled with cats (and yes, a bit of chaos), my small business, and you. Without you, I wouldn’t be here writing about the mundane, the weird little sticker I just made, or the new ideas swirling around in my head.

This year I finally launched my new sticker club, just a tiny drop in the ocean of sticker clubs out there. While there are many, I hope to reach my people and build a real community. Selling on Etsy is great, but it can feel like being one voice in a sea of sellers, big and small. That’s why I created a Discord server where I can get to know my fans, and they can get to know me too.

I’ve been working on the freebie stickers for December as the Sticker Club officially launches in January. These exclusive stickers are Christmas-themed, and if you’ve seen the new holiday cards, the art will feel familiar. I think you’ll love them—but you have to sign up to get them!

As the year winds down, it feels good to slow down and take stock of ourselves and the people around us. Connection and art are both built one small act at a time. So put your feet up, take a load off, and maybe browse the shop for the perfect gift for yourself or someone you love. Every piece is made with care, creativity, and just a little cat hair.
